b. 15 8br 1775: Jacob Jauch, taglohner... d. 17 Nov 1822; m. 2 May 1810 Ur sula Schlenker, b. 29 Feb 1776, d. 30 Mar 1846. Parents of Jacob: Martin J auch, Schneider, and Maria Keinath. (Later hand has written that THEIR fam ily registry is I-148, and I have seen that page and seen that they h ad a son Jacob, born 15 8br 1775, marrying on 2 may 1810.) Parent of Ursu la Schlenker: Jacob Schlenker, (occupation starts with Z) and Anna Maria K laiber. (A later hand has written THEIR family registry as II-381.] NOT E: this family registry # is different from that given for the paren ts of another Schlenker girl, same generation with parents by the same na me (see their marriage notes). They have one son, Jacob, b. 28 May 1802 w ho survives to adulthood and marries (see I-149b). [BUT the date of this s on's birth needs double-checking against baptisms. Might be 1799.]

Band 24, Family Registry Vol I, #148 also indicates that Ursula Schlenk er married Christian Benzing after the death of Jacob. No marriage da te is given. A second son on this page, Jacob, is noted as being bo rn in August 1829, seven years after Jacob's death. Child dies a few da ys later. Not sure why this child is on this page; seems like he must ha ve been the son of Christian Benzing.)

We know for sure that Ursula was married to Veit by 1642, because their da ugther Katherine is identified as Ursula's daughter on Katherina's 1652 de ath, which also indicates Katharine was 18.
