Marriage record (1658745, Marriages 1712, p. 38) *might* indicate he's t he son of a Hanss Jauch, but that's a stretch in terms of the decipherin g. I'd want this confirmed by someone more knowledgeable than me. [Peter S chifferdecker claims Jakob *is* son of Hanss.]
