According to 1910 census doesn't speak English!

Following information from Jennifer Pike:

Julianna (August's wife) maiden name was Geyer according to 2 references that I found on my visit to Giddings. Her death certificate has her father's name listed as Liveright Guyere. The 1880 census listed her parents' names as Guyer (Labrich, age 55 and Gauduaka, age 61). According to "Germans to America 1875 to 1888", Lebrecht Geier, age 54 and Christiane Geier, age 63 arrived Galveston on 22 Nov 1878 on the Hannover (manifest ID 18781). Lebrecht's occupation is listed as Weaver. Allowing for recording errors, I'm guessing these are the same people.

(Karl August Wilhelm WAGNER was born on 7 Jul 1850 in Cunewalde, , Sachsen, Germany, christened on 9 Jul 1850 in Cunewalde, , Sachsen, Germany and died on 14 May 1932 in Giddings, Lee, TX.)
