Found in the 1900 Seattle census, living in King St.

1910 Twin Falls, ID census. Arlington & Lawson were still living with them.

Jacob registered with his wife Bertha in the 1920 census on Whidbey Island
(Clover Valley Precinct, Island County). He is listed as being 66 (as of Jan 1920), Bertha as 61.

Bertha was born in Michigan. All four of their parents were born in Germany.

Jacob's occupation is listed as farmer.

In 1930 he was living at 2730 Chestnut in Everett (not far from where today I-5, the railroad and the Snohomish river meet). He has apparently remarried, to a Mattie E., age 66 (10 years younger than him). His household is worth $7000, presumably not bad for 1930. By comparison, the Lawson Geck household was worth $2500 at the time, and the Matilde Webber household $25.

Geck and Mrs. A.M Rogers. Funeral service today at University Funeral Parlor, interment at Washelli" In the Seattle PI of 26.11.1932

Jacob married Bertha HOPPENWORTH, daughter of Augustus HOPPENWORTH and Maria Homann, in 1877 in Sanilac County, MI. (Bertha HOPPENWORTH was born in Aug 1858 in Michigan ^19,20,21,22 and died on 23 Mar 1925 in Seattle, King, WA.)
